Notice the ending
Read each word slowly, then at your normal speaking pace:
- map · help · stop
- late · point · right
- back · work · speak
- need · made · word
- name · team · time
Instruction: Give each word enough time to finish. Avoid adding an extra vowel after the final sound.
Keep the meaning
Read these pairs aloud. Notice how the ending changes the meaning:
- plan → planned
- ask → asked
- work → worked
- need → needs
- day → days
Instruction: Say each word on its own, then use it in a short sentence. Keep the ending clear without forcing it.
Carry the ending into a phrase
Read each phrase twice: once slowly and once conversationally.
- make a plan
- send the report
- ask for help
- finish the task
- speak with confidence
Instruction: Let the words connect naturally while keeping the key words understandable.
Finish the sentence
Read these sentences aloud. Keep your final words audible, then pause briefly.
- “Please send the report.”
- “We need a clear plan.”
- “I will finish the task.”
- “The next step is to ask.”
- “That is my main point.”
Instruction: Keep enough energy for the last few words. Avoid rushing or trailing off at the end.
Make it useful
Write one real sentence, then say it three times at a comfortable pace.
Instruction: Say your sentence three times at a comfortable pace.
Review your practice
Record one sentence before and after practice using your own device. Listen for one specific difference.
